The Former Queens are grateful for the support of our alumni, enabling the efforts of our organization to support the Saint Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation and philanthropic work.

Service
As a Minnesota 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Former Queens engage in many fundraising activities in service to the community. Each year two local charities are selected that are meaningful to our members and the community to receive a donation from the Former Queens. One of these charities is selected by our current Queen. We encourage you to learn about and consider supporting these organizations that have been selected for 2025:

Women’s Advocates walks with victim-survivors and our community to break the cycle of domestic violence. They were the nation’s first shelter for those escaping domestic violence.

To dispel the myths and raise awareness of heart disease & stroke as the number one killer of women, the American Heart Association created Go Red for Women, a passionate, emotional, social initiative designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health. This organization was selected by 2025 Queen Tessa Westlund.
